"Pájaro" is a 1963 Pearson "Triton" sloop sailboat (Hull #399), built in Bristol (Rhode Island, U.S.A.) by Pearson Yachts Corporation and designed by Carl Alberg.

  • Sony GR-7600-SW SSB world-band receiver, wired to a dipole antenna

  • Aquameter Saturn compass inside cabin (tell-tale)
  • West Marine bearing compass
  • Horizon DS100 digital depth sounder
  • West Marine "Huahine" 7x50 binoculars
  • All around top-mast self-made dioptic light (5 watt halogen) and running bicolor and stern lights
